Short and plain. I'm Vinny, and I run Vision to Cut. This page explains what happens to the details you send me through this site, and to the photos used in the try-on app.
What I collect through this site
- The details you type into the application form: your shop name, town or postcode, Instagram handle, whether you run a barbershop or salon, and your WhatsApp number.
- Which page (and plan, if you looked at one) you sent the form from, the time, and your IP address (kept for one day, only to stop spam).
- Anything you choose to send me by email or WhatsApp.
Why I collect it
Only to check whether your area is still available, get back to you about it and, if you want to go ahead, to set it up. I don't send newsletters or marketing you didn't ask for, and I never sell or share your details.
Who handles it
Applications are saved in a database hosted by Upstash and emailed to me at contact@vinnytran.com through Resend. They process the details on my behalf to store and deliver them. The site is hosted on Vercel, which may keep standard technical logs such as IP address and browser type. WhatsApp messages are handled by WhatsApp.
Photos in the try-on app
When a customer uses the try-on app in a shop, their photo is sent securely to our AI provider to create the haircuts. We don't store the photos or the results on our own servers. The provider processes them under its own terms and may keep them for a limited period.
How long I keep it
For as long as it's useful for your enquiry or project. If we don't end up working together, I'll delete your details when you ask, or when the conversation has gone cold.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete what I hold about you at any time. Just email contact@vinnytran.com and I'll sort it quickly.
